How to add your signature to Gmail
Fill in your details and pick a template, then click Copy signature. In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → General → Signature, create a new signature and paste. Set it as the default for new emails and replies, then save at the bottom of the page.
If your photo or logo came from your computer, host it first. The editor tells you when an image would only show up on your own screen.
Designing a signature that looks right in Gmail
Gmail removes stylesheets and many modern CSS features, so SignaturesDB builds every signature from nested tables with inline styles, which Gmail renders reliably. Keep images small, use a web-safe font, and send yourself a test email to check it on desktop and mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use an HTML signature in Gmail?
Yes. Gmail has no HTML field, but pasting a rendered signature keeps its HTML. Use Copy signature, not Copy HTML, then paste into the signature box.
Why are my images missing in Gmail?
Gmail can only show images that have a public https:// address. Images stored only in your browser are left out of the export, and the editor warns you about them.
Does the signature work in the Gmail mobile app?
Yes. The Gmail apps use your web signature unless you set a separate mobile signature, which is plain text only.
