What stays in your browser
Everything you type, plus cropped images, is saved only in your browser's local storage on this device so your draft survives a reload. It is never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using “Start over”, removes it.
What is sent to our servers
- Icons and initials avatars. Social icons and initials badges are small PNG images served by this site. When you or your recipients view the signature, the image URL (icon type, shape, color or initials) is requested like any other web image.
- Premium name fonts. If you choose a Premium name font, your name is drawn as a PNG image by this site. The name is part of that image's URL, so it is requested whenever the signature is viewed, just like the initials avatar. Nothing is logged or stored beyond normal web caching.
- Hosted images (optional). If this site has image hosting enabled and you click “Host image publicly”, the cropped image is uploaded and gets a public URL that anyone with the link can view. Nothing is uploaded unless you click that button.
No tracking in your signature
Generated signatures contain no tracking pixels, no scripts and no links through redirect services. Links point directly where you typed them.
Analytics
We count visits with our own privacy-friendly statistics, which never leave this site. For each page view we record the page, the website you came from (for example Google), your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet) and your country, estimated from your browser's time zone. We use no cookies and don't store your IP address. To count unique visitors, your IP and browser are mixed with a random value that changes every day and is then thrown away, so you can't be recognised from one day to the next. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, you aren't counted at all.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics, which sets cookies (such as _ga) and sends usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) to Google to help us understand how the site is used. If you click Decline, or your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, Google Analytics is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Your signature details are never sent to Google, and we don't use advertising features.
Third-party requests
Fonts are self-hosted. The only third-party requests are ones you ask for, such as loading an image from a URL you paste to check that it works, and Google Analytics if you accept cookies.
